Norfolk Trucks Philosophy is one of Total Quality.

Norfolk Trucks is the Iveco Commercial vehicle franchise for Norfolk and Suffolk having dealerships in Norwich, Beccles, Ipswich and Enfield. Originally headed Peter Colby Commercials it was one of the original Fiat truck UK garages opening around 1974 and based then at Ayton Road, Wymondham, Norfolk.

The company’s natural expansion necessitated a move to larger premises in 1988 when it relocated to its present site at School Lane in Sprowston, Norwich, a four acre site which houses extensive workshops, offices and parking facilities. Peter Colby remains Chairman of the company and is still actively involved in the day to day running of the business, which now employs in excess of 260 staff. Norfolk Trucks now possesses four depots, in addition to the Norwich base, there are also depots at Beccles (Norfolk Trucks in Beccles operate under the banner of Brand of Beccles), Ipswich and Enfield.

The Ipswich branch based four miles north of Ipswich at Great Blakenham, just off the A14 has excellent parking facilities, with 24 hour cover for service and parts, and supports many key fleet operators in Felixstowe. In 1998 the Norfolk Trucks Group added the dealership at Enfield to its portfolio when the facility was acquired from Lex Commercials.

Another Group company is Collease Trailer Rental Ltd, which has a trailer rental fleet numbering in excess of 1000 units, with depots at Dagenham and Felixstowe. Collease Truck Rental Ltd is their ‘in house’ hire company, which currently runs a fleet of over 600 vehicles, ranging from Light Trucks (3.5 ton) up to the Stralis 44 ton tractor unit. Norfolk Trucks sells more Iveco tractor units than anyone else in the UK by a substantial margin, and the annual turnover within the group was over £50 million, and they sold more than 500 new vehicles.
